Modern Portfolio Consultants, LLC (Modern) is a Registered Investmetn Advisory firm that provides Investment Consulting services with a focus on consulting to Christian organizations.

Modern has advocated institutions implement a very logical, prudent and successful investment strategy tailor made for their Mission. This strategy also allows for the flexibility to modify and adapt portions of the portfolio to take advantage of market conditions such as, but not limited to, interest rate directions and their correlated effects on the equity markets.
The core principles of Modern’s investment strategy start with the firm’s belief that it is extremely difficult to outperform the corresponding Index for an actively managed account, either equity or fixed income.
Combining this belief with the inherent lower fees and costs of indexing provides for a very reasonable probability that the portfolios will excel.

  • You use phrasing that might imply endorsement.

Many church-affiliated institutions (e.g., Adventist universities, hospitals, or unions) require communications be reviewed through their communications or legal departments.

2. Avoid These Risky Phrases

Don’t say:

  • “Approved by the General Conference”
